This is really good power-pop music.

I have always liked this band. Granted, their songs sound pretty much the same, musically and lyrically. But there's something intimate about them, the way it tells simple yet very approchable stories, using name-dropping of meanstream stuff (shops, cars, character names), brushing on universal topics (love, relationship).
